Christmas came early for Sierra Leone Commercial Bank account holders Sheku Patrick Coker and Kumba Fasuluku, who were both lucky winners of the bank’s grand finale ‘Put am dae’ promotional draw, which took place on Christmas Eve at the bank’s banking hall at Siaka Steven Street.

The promo is in support of the Sierra Leone Football Association, SLFA, and the Leone Stars’ trip to Cameroon for the AFCON 2022 finals.

The two winners received all-expenses-paid trips to all Leone Stars qualification games.

Acting SLCB MD Bockarie Kalokoh expressed three wishes: for SLCB’s ongoing digital revolution to deepen, for Leone Stars to bring home the trophy, and for a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the nation.

The Bank’s Director of Business and Development, Moses Sesay explained that since the campaign started in late October, it has been a marvelous ride.

SLCB’s Chief Risk Officer Abdul Rahim Mujtabah said that the campaign would not have been made possible without the intervention of three key partners which were AYV, Pee Cee and Sons, and SLFA.

The AYV rep said the media empire partnered because of their passion for entertainment and sports. Secondly, because of the partnership, they had with the SLCB in ensuring that projects were supported. This is why we gave them full access to all five of our platforms, which include three TV channels, the radio, and the newspaper. Adding that, over the last 3 months, there have been in-house competitions promoting SLCB’s campaign.

SLFA’s rep disclosed that this is not the first time the bank has supported the association. Adding that the team is ready to “Put Am Dae” for Sierra Leone.

Head of Marketing, Christina James, noted that though the promo has ended, Sierra Leoneans can continue to show love to their darling Leone Stars by purchasing the original team jersey at any of the bank’s outlets.
