Leone Star Player declare unfit to be replaced

The medical team of the Leone Stars has discovered that one of the players, Alhassan
Koroma has been declared unfit for the tournament. Alhassan is said to suffer from an hamstring injury.
As an alternative, the Technical staff of National Football Association, Leone Stars, has requested for Augustine Kargbo to join the squad to participate in the Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroun which is scheduled to kick off on 9 January 2022.
Augustine Kargbo was one of the players recently placed on the standby list by the technical staff in the event of a possible replacement in the selected 28- man squad to the AFCON tournament.
