Drizilik to shake Earth in 9 days

Multi-award-winning Sierra Leone artist Drizilik is set to shake London’s venue Earth on 19th August.

This is one of Drizilik’s most anticipated shows, as the ‘New School’ artist has teamed up with global star Idris Elba on the new single ‘Ashobi’, a smash hit which was out on 5th August on Idris’ 7Wallace label.

‘Ashobi’ is an irresistible combination of powerful percussion, appealing accordion, and stirring vocals that Drizilik has skillfully blended with fresh, modern energy.

Drizilik is a performing artist who has acquired the moniker of “Sierra Leone’s King of New School Music” for his ability to wax poetic on hip hop and Afrobeats with equal expertise.

On his 2018 debut album Shukubly, his brilliant use of Krio euphemisms and metaphors made him a breakout hit, and he won ‘Album of the Year,’ ‘Best Afro Hip Hop Artiste of The Year,’ ‘Male Artist of The Year,’ and ‘Best Live Performer at the 2019 National Entertainment Awards.

Idris Elba, who needs no introduction, juggles his budding music career with his fame as one of the world’s most sought-after actors. Among his most popular songs are ‘Girl With The Bat,’ ‘Apple Crumble,’ and the global blockbuster ‘Boasty.’ Idris recently collaborated with Davido, Koffee, Lil Tjay, and The Fanatix on the monster collab ‘Vroom,’ while his 7Wallace imprint continues to give a platform for artists such ETA VONNI, Drumtap, and Bluey.
