Again for the second time, the Israeli government and people have sent medical supplies worth over $40,000 to the Sierra Leone High Commission in Ghana, for the affected and hospitalised victims of the recent gas explosion in Freetown.

Examining gloves, bandages, 120 cartoons of Ibuprofen pills, cotton wool, tramadol injections, and other supplies are included.

Israel and Sierra Leone continue to maintain strong bilateral connections, and both nations have pledged to further enhance those ties through their respective Heads of Mission in Accra.

Approximately $46,000 in medical supplies had already been supplied in the aftermath of the gas explosion fire calamity.

High Commissioner Francess Virginia Anderson expressed gratitude for the gift and praised the Israeli government and people for their support.

The Head of Consul and Administration, Ortal Popoviz Alkelai, represented the Israeli Ambassador in Ghana who is accredited to Sierra Leone.
