Orange Sierra Leone’s Directors, Senior Management, and employees on November 7, 2021, visited Connaught and 34 Military Hospitals to sympathize with victims of the fire tragedy caused by a gasoline tanker explosion. The Orange team’s visit concluded with the distribution of water and food supplies to frontline medical practitioners who have been overwhelmed in the past few days

In the early hours of Saturday, 92 remains had been taken into the Connaught Hospital mortuary. According to Foday Musa, a staff member in the intensive care unit, some 30 badly burnt individuals were not expected to live. Injured victims whose clothing had burnt off in the fire that erupted after the explosion sat nude
